Details: Tuesday Night Open Mic Poetry hosted by Twain. For two hours, audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices and a vast array of professional spoken word performers, open mic rookies, musicians and a different host every week. Venue: Emergence Community Arts Collective, 733 Euclid Street NW, Washington, DC (near Banneker High School and Howard University School of Business)
Details: Droopy the Broke Baller and Dwayne B. the Crochet Kingpin  present the renowned Spit Dat weekly open mic –Thursday nights, 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM. This is one of the longest running open mics in Washington, D.C., and it recently won a NUSPA (National Undergroud Spoken Word Award) for venue of the year.

Date & Time: Wednesday, October 3rd at 7:30 PM
Venue: Red Cat Jazz Cafe, 711 Franklin St., Downtown Houston, TX 77002 (next to Historic Magnolia Brewery Building)

Date & Time: Saturday, October 6th at 7:30 PM
Venue: University of Michigan-Flint, French Hall Theatre, 303 E. Kearsley Street, Flint MI 48502-1950.
Details: Future The Poet will not only be performing at the national Super Talent Show. Tickets are $10. We are planning to organize this event annually with the upcoming show being the first installment. We look forward to seeing YOU come out!  Online auditions for next year will begin on July 1st and end on July 31st. Either send a YouTube link to garyjones@live.com (performance time limit is 5 minutes) or audition in-person. In-person auditions are at the University of Michigan-Flint Kiva auditorium on July 20th 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and July 21st 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
